Peep Show started in 2003 and ran for ten series before finishing in 2015 (as you fucking know). It's a cult classic, colouring and informing much of this fan's vernacular on a daily basis.
So, in tribute, it seems right to share some of our favourite lines from the show. Probably not the "best", but these are just so darn memorable to us, and you might notice their influence in some of our designs.
Are you really, really ready for these quotes?
Mark: "Oh, no, now I've said too much. Damn. Damn these lips of mine."
Jez: "I adore to read."
Mark: "We're are not Equals Pequals."
Jez: "It's tiny, it's red, it's right in the bloody middle. 'Course it's the best thing on the board!"
Super Hans: "The secret ingredient is crime."
Gog: "Are you pretending to write?"
Johnson: "Is that normal pooing you're doing?"
Mark: "Henmania!"
Mark: "Note to self re: being the Fonz, Mark you are not the Fonz."
Doctor: "Look guys. You've had your fun with the sectioning. There's going to be no more sectioning today."
Mark: "Don't give me mottos, Jeremy, I want figures, data."
Mark: "Chance would be a fine thing. A fine thing indeed."
Mark: "This has got to be a dream, nothing this bad could happen in reality."
Jez: "How thick is wall?"
Mark: "So, what do you think of the...chairs? Quite OK, aren't they?"
Mark: "Don't flaunt your wad Jeremy. It's not becoming."
Jez: "I really don’t think that’s a distinction as big in reality as it is in your mind."
Jez: "But before we… rock you. Erm… we need to find out… Are you ready? But are you really, really, really ready. Great, you’re really… you’re ready. So… yeah, yeah, so you’re ready to party.. OK, we know that now. But my next question is… are you ready to party hard, right here, right now? Mega."
Jez: "Justice is done. Not actual justice, but what I wanted to happen, which is basically the same thing."
Mark: "Nancy, there's no evidence for God, whereas Ofcom has published guidelines."
